Saint Rocco's was founded by brothers Kolby and Kaleb Rush, who grew up in a family deeply rooted in the pet industry. Raised around independent pet retail, dog treat craftsmanship, and hardworking family values, they developed a lifelong passion for dogs, entrepreneurship, and the relationships built within local communities.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, both brothers lost their summer jobs and were sent home from college. Faced with uncertainty, they decided to turn adversity into opportunity by building something of their own.
What started in their mom's kitchen quickly became a family effort. Alongside their father, they began handcrafting small batches of dog treats using simple ingredients and traditional baking methods passed down through generations. They spent months refining recipes, baking fresh daily, and personally bringing products to local farmers markets, community events, and independent pet stores.
From the very beginning, Saint Rocco's was built on relationships — not just transactions.
Community involvement, honest business practices, and family-first values remain at the center of everything the company does today. Whether supporting local events, partnering with independent retailers, or connecting directly with pet parents, Saint Rocco's believes the best brands are built through trust, consistency, and genuine relationships.

Saint Rocco spent his days as a doctor, healing all those who were ill. Eventually, he himself became ill but society could not help him. Thankfully, a dog came to his side, licked his wounds, and fed him bread each day until he fully recovered.
They remained friends for life and are symbolic of the love and loyalty dogs show us and we owe to them. With this as our guiding story we vow to always use human-grade ingredients & no harmful preservatives or manufacturing practices when we are creating your tool for a happier, healthier, and more meaningful relationship with your dog.
